The Good

  • Rotation
  • Sound
  • Crosshair

The Bad

  • Limited Sync
  • Resolution

Rotation: One of the most impressive things about this monitor is its ability to rotate 90 degrees on its stand, allowing vertical or horizontal displays. Fans of Japanese scrolling shooter games like Touhou will appreciate the vertical display resolution capabilities the most.
Sound: Along with several different choices of connecting to your PC, this set comes with high-quality, built-in speakers. Word of advice: people will tell you it’s impossible to play sound through a DVI connection, even when hooked up with a DVI-to-HDMI cable. This is false.
Crosshair: This monitor features the option to add a crosshair to the exact center of the screen. This is great for calibrating your camera in game, making sure your shots are hitting the center of the screen or calculating bullet spread in games like Counter-Strike GO.
Limited Sync: Despite offering options to synchronize with some graphics cards, these are limited to any displays connected through the Display Port. This can be disappointing to those with cards that use DVI or HDMI inputs looking to boost their frame rates.
Resolution: Unlike the higher-end monitors on this list, this unit can display a maximum resolution of 1080p. This is perfectly adequate for gaming now – but 2K and 4K are just over the horizon – so you may find this monitor obsolete before long.
