The Good

  • Power
  • Ease Of Use
  • Durability
  • Maintenance
  • Consistency

The Bad

  • Chain

Power: The Echo CS-590 has all of the power you need for light, medium or heavy-duty work. With its professional-grade, 2-stroke engine, this model is powerful enough for commercial use and practical enough for homeowners who have large trees to fell.
Ease Of Use: For such a powerful chainsaw, you wouldn’t expect such an easy starting mechanism on this model or a super-intuitive design. Right out of the box, it’s easy to start this saw, take on big projects and keep it running all day.
Durability: While you can see the durability first-hand, this chainsaw is so tough that the company backs it with an unheard of five-year warranty. Built to handle the toughest environments, this model will stay running during extended use in even the harshest conditions.
Maintenance: Despite its commercial workload capabilities, the Echo CS-590 is easy to maintain and amateurs can fix and clean all of its parts easily. This model is so durable that it doesn’t need much work, but if anything requires fixing, you can do it yourself.
Consistency: This model is about as reliable as it gets – the first tree you fell will go down just as quickly as the 500th tree that you saw. It works well in all environments and it stands the test of time thanks to its easy maintenance and quality craftsmanship.
NoMark
Chain: The one downside for this model would be its chain – though it’s not an inferior chain, for such an amazing saw you would expect a little better option for this behemoth.
