Design: This is a style statement first and foremost, though this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. With a touch screen and overall Star Wars motif, this is an immediately impressive device.
Nvidia: Many of the laptops listed here use AMD graphics processors, in the rare case that the graphics capabilities aren’t handled directly by the CPU. This machine bucks that trend with a Nvidia Geforce card, which is much more powerful.
Upgrades: Although upgrades may not be needed considering what you’ll be using this machine for, it is a simple process to enhance this device. RAM can be added easily, and the disc drive can be replaced with another hard drive or SSD.
Keyboard: A sturdy keyboard can mean all the difference between a good and bad laptop. This keyboard, in addition to providing great tactile feedback, is backlit so as to help you type in the dark.
Gaming: With a lot of lucrative design careers in the video game industry, it may come in handy to have a machine capable of playing the latest and greatest titles. This machine is capable of running games like Skyrim and The Old Republic at high settings smoothly.
Bloatware: Being a tie-in Star Wars product, there are many extra features added to this machine, such as some Star Wars-themed fonts and a digital comic. This may be appealing to hardcore fans, but it’ll most likely just take up space.
