Optical Drive: While these have been mostly phased out in favor of digital distribution, there are still many benefits to gamers having a disc drive. Installing drivers for hardware is much easier, and you can support many older titles that still run off CDs.
Hardware: If you add up the prices of each individual component in this PC on their own, the total cost would be far above what this machine is currently going for! With some incremental upgrades down the line, you can gets years of performance out of it.
Expansion Port: With an extra PCI-E port on this computer’s motherboard, it’s a very simple process to attach another graphics card in tandem, whether it’s through AMD Crossfire or Nvidia SLI. This will give you a major boost in graphics processing.
VR: A great benefit to this machine using AMD’s new RX 480 is that VR games using the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift will work right out of the box. Enjoy the future of video games for less than a grand!
PSU: The power supply that comes with this machine produces around 300 watts, which is not enough for many high-end graphics cards. Additionally, some customers have noticed that it is prone to failure, so consider replacing it ASAP.
