The Good

  • Ergonomics
  • Repair
  • Compact Power
  • Versatility

The Bad

  • Oil Use

Ergonomics: The WORX WG304.1 has it all when it comes to comfort and ease of use: auto tensioning, a chain-brake, full wraparound capability and a lightweight frame. If you lack upper body strength or simply don’t want to overexert yourself, this model is as ergonomic as it gets.
Repair: All chainsaws have parts that need repairing or replacing, but this model makes that process as easy as possible. With tool-free chain replacement and an auto-tensioning system, you’re left with minimal upkeep work.
Compact Power: For such a small saw, you wouldn’t expect as much power to be generated by the WORX WG304.1 – 4.0 HP! Usually, to get that type of power, you’re going to have to invest in a much larger and heavier chainsaw.
Versatility: This model has exceptional power, but you can also rely on its small size and maneuverability to handle the small and precision-based jobs. The cord is long enough to eliminate the need for an extension, which makes climbing up to those hard-t0-reach branches quite doable.
NoMark
Oil Use: The saw may pack a lot of punch, but that output requires a significant amount of chain oil given the size of this model. The automatic oiling feature is a nice touch, but it ends up being one of the main reasons this product requires constant refills.
